We will be using Cinema 4d with V-ray for Cinema 4D (but any 3D software can be used to obtain these renders).
-First of all position your object at the center of the scene
-We created a container for our object that needs to be visible in the render.
-Added three Vray target area lights.
-Now lets turn our container off in order to show you what needs to be done.
-A huge sphere was created with a radius of 77 cm and 24 segments and it is positioned at the center of the scene
-Make a copy of this sphere and make it editable
-Use the command edge to spline to obtain 5 splines necessary for our animation.
-Activate the edges mode, press v , go to select and choose loop selection
-Select this first loop and press edge to spline
-Repeat this for other 4 splines
-Move the splines out of the editable sphere and delete the editable sphere.
-Position them under your original sphere and then turn your sphere off.
-Now you can add a target camera and position the target at the center of the object
-Add a Vray physical camera tag (if you use Vray) and a Cinema 4D tag called align to spline
-Make a total of 5 cameras using the same camera target and add the Vray physical camera tag (if you use vray as a render engine) and align to spline tag.
-We will connect every spline to the same number camera.
-Let’s start with camera 1 select the align to spline tag and drag spline 1 here in this path. You will repeat this procedure for every camera.
-Camera 2 has spline path 2 and so on.
-Let’s go back to the first camera and to the align to spline tag.
We will explain how to set our animation now Lets move to the animation palette
-Make sure the current frame is on 0
-select camera 1 and align to spline tag
-Right click on the dot next to position- animation- and choose add key frame
-Move the current frame to 32, make sure you have 100% here, right click again on the dot next to
-Repeat this same procedure for all 5 cameras -Then go to window- timeline
-Select all align to spline tags, and change the key type from spline to linear this way you will have a smooth animation.
-Go to render settings
-Choose your render engine (in our case we are using V-ray)
-Under Output I used 1050×1400 pixels, 0.75 to 1 ratio
-Frame rate 30, Frame range all frames, From 0 To 32 frames, Frame stop 1
-Choose a folder where you will save all your frames
-You will render 5 different cameras so just activate one at a time and start the render, make sure to write the camera number in your file path and you will have 33 renders for every camera.
-Format tiff psd layer
-For your render engine’s settings just use your usual settings.
-Make sure the sphere is turned off as it is not supposed to be visible in the render.
-I have a folder for every camera. And for every camera I have a white version of my object and a red version because I will have a change of state in my 360 degree image.
This is the content of the first camera white version, as you can see there are 33 renders.
