Museum Scene | V-ray 5.2 Cinema4D

We are proud to release our second scene for V-ray 5 for Cinema4D, specifically conceived to take advantage of the new features of the 5.2 update. We took inspiration by the MAXXI Museum in Rome by Architect Zaha Hadid. It is the same scene we have build for the D2 workshop sponsored by Chaos. We have put a lot of effort in this project, for us it is not only CG, it is also our personal tribute to one of our favorite Architects. The one we used for the D2 was already a great scene but we felt we could do even better, so we have added more assets, a lot more details on shaders and better lighting setup, all of that well organized and ready to get the best out of V-ray 5.2. You will find many lighting setups, using Physical Sun/Sky and HDR in order to simulate most outdoor lighting conditions, including Clear Daylight Sky, Overcast, Blue Hour, Night, Fog and more. All Area and IES lights used for artificial lighting are perfectly calibrated with proper intensities and color temperature.

Detailed Assets

As usual you will find amazing geometric details in every single object and we have also added a few more useful assets compared to the D2 workshop scene. No matter where you look or how close you look, you will always notice the difference compared to low quality objects.

You will find tons of useful assets to reuse in your own scenes, including outdoor and urban furniture, and many details that will help you to improve the look of your scene.

You will be able to download a few samples here: FREE OBJECTS

Amazing Shaders

The scene is loaded with over 130 high end shaders including:
concrete – plasters – metals  – glass -pebbles and much more.

We put great care in every single shader and the amount of details will blow your mind!

Textures include: diffuse, specular, bump, displacement, anisotropy and alpha map (resolution is up to 8K).
Many shaders are build in a modular way so you can easily reuse components to mix it with other materials and create more great stuff.

The 5.2 update with the improved Multisubtex and UVW Randomizer Shader help us to build incredible materials that simply where not possible before.

Supports every V-Ray 5.2 Feature

V-Ray 5.2 feature set make the production workflow even smoother and more pleasant.

This scene is already set up to take advantage of Light Mix and Cryptomatte and the new Light Lister.
All lights are already tuned with physically accurate intensity and temperatures, and by using the Light lister you will have the chance to play with lights and create countless variations of the same image.
You can also have fun by tuning individual shaders using Cryptomatte. To complete the post production experience all cameras come with their own files for Tone Mapping, Lens Effects and the new Sharpen/Blur Layer.
